Success at the Core?

School-based teams are adding comments to the Success at the Core blog to share the various ways they are applying the website’s resources to their work.

Teams

School-based teams (such as the Pennfield Middle School Team from North Penn, pictured above) meet throughout the year, primarily to become a community of learners focused on increasing their understanding of effective science instruction.

What Are We Learning

Teams and individuals are developing new understandings and descriptions of science instruction. Academy participants use these understandings to build a knowledgebase incorporating what is being learned and discovered. This knowledgebase is a comprehensive written compendum of the knowledge they value and can describe. It is built from files with one file on each subject covered. The files on the various subjects and the entire knowledgebase are searchable. Academy participants should work with the knowledgebase using the guidelines established for Wikipeda contributors.
